How can we help?
Everything you need to set up EasyECheck, send electronic checks with confidence and keep your payment records clean. Cannot find it here? Support is one message away.
Getting started
Set up your account and send your first electronic check.
What is an eCheck?
An eCheck is an electronic version of a paper check. It carries the same information — payer, payee, amount, check number, routing and account details — but it is created, delivered and tracked online instead of being printed and mailed. Recipients can print it on plain paper and deposit it like any other check, or deposit it through their bank mobile app.
How do I create an EasyECheck account?
Open the sign-up page, enter your business email and set a password. You will confirm your email address, add your company details and connect the bank account you pay from. Most customers finish setup and send their first check the same day.
How long does it take to send my first check?
Once your account is verified you can create and send a check in under a minute. Enter the payee email, the amount and a memo, then send. The recipient receives a secure link immediately.
Does my recipient need an EasyECheck account?
No. Recipients open the secure link from their email, view the check and print or deposit it. Creating an account is optional and only useful if they want a history of everything you have sent them.
Can I import payments from my accounting software?
Yes. You can upload a payment batch as a file or push payables through the API on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, so the checks you already scheduled in your accounting system become eChecks without re-keying.
Sending and tracking payments
Delivery, statuses, corrections and reconciliation.
How do I know a check was received?
Every check has a status timeline. You see when it was created, approved, delivered, opened by the recipient, printed and marked as deposited. Notifications can be emailed to you at each step.
Can I cancel or void a check after sending it?
You can void a check from its detail page as long as it has not yet been deposited. The recipient link stops working immediately and the check is recorded as voided in your register for audit purposes.
What happens if a recipient loses the email?
Open the check and resend it. You can also copy the secure link and share it through another channel. The original link stays valid unless you void the check.
Can several people approve payments before they go out?
Yes. Assign roles to your teammates and require an approval step before checks are released. Every approval is recorded with the user name and timestamp.
How do I reconcile eChecks with my bank statement?
Export your payment register for any date range as a spreadsheet. It includes check numbers, payees, amounts, statuses and dates so you can match line by line against your bank statement.
Security and compliance
How your account, your data and your payments are protected.
How secure are payments sent through EasyECheck?
All traffic runs over TLS and stored data is encrypted at rest. Accounts support multi-factor authentication, sessions expire automatically and administrators can review an audit log of every action taken in the account.
Who can see my bank details?
Account and routing numbers are only rendered on the check image delivered to the payee you chose, exactly as on a paper check. Inside your organization, access is controlled by the role you assign to each user.
Is an eCheck legally valid?
Yes. Electronic checks that carry the required check elements are accepted for deposit in the United States, and electronic signatures are recognized under the ESIGN Act. Your bank may have its own deposit rules, so confirm with them if you are unsure.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
You can export your full payment history before closing. After closure we retain records only for the period required by financial record-keeping rules, then delete them. See the privacy policy for the details.
Plans and billing
Subscriptions, limits and invoices.
How much does EasyECheck cost?
Free gives you 5 checks per bank account on one bank account. Starter is $19 per month for 40 checks and 2 bank accounts. Pro is $49 per month for 130 checks, 5 bank accounts, the custom check designer, custom email templates and API access. Business is $129 per month for 400 checks, unlimited bank accounts and priority support. Enterprise is quoted individually and covers a contract, an SLA, invoiced billing and dedicated support.
What happens if I go over my monthly check allowance?
Nothing stops. On Starter, Pro and Business each extra check is charged at your plan rate — $0.60, $0.55 and $0.50 respectively. On the Free plan extra checks are bought as a check pack. You can also top up in advance at any time.
How does check pack pricing work?
Check packs are pay-as-you-go and get cheaper by volume: $0.95 per check for 10–49, $0.89 for 50–99, $0.82 for 100–249, $0.76 for 250–499, $0.70 for 500–999 and $0.65 for 1,000–10,000. Purchased checks are added to your organization and are used once the monthly plan allowance runs out. Above 10,000 checks, talk to Sales.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Changes take effect on your next billing date and unused monthly allowance does not carry over — purchased check packs do.
How many bank accounts can I connect?
One on the Free plan, two on Starter, five on Pro, and an unlimited number on Business and Enterprise. On the Free plan the 5-check allowance is granted per bank account rather than per month.
How do I get an invoice or receipt?
Every payment generates a receipt in your billing settings, where you can also download past invoices as PDFs and update the billing address shown on them.
